Call, email or visit

Phone is best for anything with water, smell or a safety risk. Email is fine for non-urgent questions, and we reply during business hours.

What to tell the dispatcher

A few details help the dispatcher pick the right plumber and the right parts on the first trip.

What you see

Water on the floor, a slow drain, no hot water, a smell. Describe it the way you would to a neighbor.

Where it is

Kitchen, bath, basement, crawlspace, garage, yard or a business floor drain.

How long

When it started, and whether it is getting worse.

What you tried

Plunger, snake, shutoff valve, reset button. Tell us even if it did nothing.

Your address

The street and city, and a gate or parking note if access is tricky.

Rent or own

If you rent, say so. We can talk with your property manager.

While you wait for the plumber

If water is spreading or something smells wrong, these steps limit damage before anyone arrives.

  • Shut off the water at the main valve, usually near the meter or where the line enters the house.
  • Stop using the affected drain, toilet or fixture.
  • If water is near outlets or the panel, stay clear and do not touch anything electrical while wet.
  • If you smell gas, leave the building and call the gas utility or 911 before calling us.
  • Move valuables and rugs out of the wet area.

Public water or sewer line breaks

If the problem is in the street rather than inside your property, such as a broken main or an overflowing public sewer, the City of Mountlake Terrace Public Works handles it at 425-670-8264 during weekday daytime hours. After hours, the Snohomish County non-emergency line is 425-407-3999. If you are not sure which side of the meter the problem is on, call us and we will help sort it out.

Before you call

Yes. The line at (206) 864-6558 is staffed 24/7, including holidays.

Our business address is 22003 66th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043. Plumbing work happens at your property, so calling first is the fastest route.

No. We do not use online forms. A short phone call tells the dispatcher far more than a form can, and it starts the process immediately.

Calls to our line may be recorded for quality and training purposes.
